2001. Channel Restoration Design of the Kerepehi Loop; Piako River.

This Research and Design project details the designs required to carryout excavation and riparian restoration of the Kerepehi Loop, Piako River.

The existing and design channel conditions were modeled using the Mike 11 (Danish Hydraulic Institute) software format, an internationally recognized hydraulic modeling package.

This project follows on from pre-design investigations including an options analysis and feasibility study. There are conclusions and recommendations included in this report.
